Pencil drawing of a child dressed in a long green dress. I came across this pin while looking for faces to draw. The drawing is half realistic and half expressive .The idea behind this was to draw a portrait with classic techniques and slightly modern ,hence the splash of colour.

Mauritania
Mauritania is the only African country dominated and based solely on the Islamic religion. In this country, children are forcefed as the people hold strong beliefs on a wife being on the heavy side. This, they believe, is a sign of health and potential(Of good child bearing). Here is a black and white portrait of a lady from the land. Enjoy pieces of me.
Sunset on the Watutsi
I find the Dinka tribe's most popular cattle,Watutsi, intriguing. The idwa of the portrait was to capture the lengthy horns as the sun set on them. The results is a fiery orange sunset with black horns and a herder to care for these majestic beasts. They were, hence,my inspiration for this watercolour painting I laid on my sketchbook.Enjoy pieces of me.
Baby carrying
Through browsing for motherhood portraits,I stumbled across a photo of an African mother carrying her child. My immediate thought was,"I'd like people to experience this in pencil form". The results was a Black and white portrait.
